Reyes Fleet Management is seeking a Trailer Technician / Reefer Technician to repair and maintain the reefer units at our Reyes Beverage Group facility in Grand Prairie.

You will primarily be working on Carrier equipment.

Shift: Full-Time l Monday - Friday 7:00am-3:30pm

Pay: $35.00 - $39.00/hr, depending upon experience

Position Responsibilities:

  • The Trailer Technicianwill mainly be focused on diagnosing and repairing Carrier refrigeration equipment.
  • As a Trailer Technician, you will inspect, repair, and diagnose refrigeration and heating units, as well as possible hydraulic liftgate components
  • You will complete thorough documentation of work orders for repairs through the online AssetWorks system
  • You will assess the structural integrity and body of the asset, repair and replace parts as needed, and perform the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) annual inspection certification
  • You will work in a safe manner and maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) with 3 plus years of related experience
  • Ability to frequently lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift 100 pounds
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations to operate applicable company vehicles
  • Must possess own tools (have minimum tool requirement)

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Technical School Certification
