EHS Associate Manager

Coordinate and conduct field assessments of environmental issues to ensure operational activities are consistent with the needs of the organization and requirements of governmental regulatory agencies.

Job Description

Kraft Heinz is looking for an EHS Manager to lead Environment, Health, and Safety across the site, ensuring compliance with Egyptian legal requirements and Kraft Heinz standards. This role also oversees Wastewater Treatment Plant operations and drives a strong safety culture through team leadership, compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead site-wide EHS policies, procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Oversee WWTP operations, compliance, maintenance, and reporting
  • Develop SOPs for wastewater treatment, emergency response, and related activities
  • Lead, coach, and develop EHS and WWTP teams
  • Drive safety culture, training, and incident investigation across the site
  • Manage contractor safety and permit-to-work compliance
  • Ensure compliance with legal, ISO, and Kraft Heinz EHS standards
  • Support crisis management, safety committees, and EHS business planning
  • Monitor performance, maintain records, and drive cost and sustainability improvements

  • WWTP compliance and effluent quality

  • Timely regulatory reporting

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in science, Agriculture, or Engineering
  • NEBOSH certification
  • Minimum 6 years of EHS experience, preferably in manufacturing or FMCG
  • Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment, compliance, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001
  • Experience in contractor safety, incident investigation, and continuous improvement
