1. Exercise regularly

Carve out a regular time each day to do exercise. Whether it’s a yoga class, time at the gym, or a run through the park. Exercise goes a long way to reducing your stress hormones and releasing endorphins.

2. Reset your sleep cycle

Avoid TV or checking your phone an hour before bed, and get to bed at a reasonable time. Adults need around 7-8 hours sleep a night, any less than that and you won’t be yourself.

3. Drink plenty of water

Studies have shown water can relieve your stress levels (https://www.wikihow.com/Deal-With-Stress#_note-6) because dehydration creates cortisol, a stress hormone. Aim for 8 glasses of water a day, maybe have a drink bottle on your desk so you can keep track of how much you’re having.

4. Take time to do what relaxes you

Whether it’s listening to music, reading a book, meditating, having a bath, or going for long walks, find out what relaxes you and make time for it. Taking time to tune out can be vital to lowering your stress levels.

5. Do the things your love
