Billie Eilish never talking about her sexuality again

Billie Eilish has addressed the topic of sex, stating she intends not to discuss it again.

The artist known for the song ‘Ocean Eyes’ is featured on the cover of Vogue magazine for November and has shared her thoughts on her sexuality after facing criticism earlier this year due to her open discussions about sex.

“I wish no one knew anything about my sexuality or anything about my dating life. Ever, ever, ever,” Eilish told Vogue in the story published on Tuesday. “And I hope that they never will again. And I'm never talking about my sexuality ever again. And I'm never talking about who I'm dating ever again.”

In April, Eilish stirred controversy with her candid remarks about sex in a Rolling Stone article.

Billie Eilish acknowledges that her frank approach to discussing sex makes many people uneasy. She noted, “I basically talk about sex any time I possibly can,” during her interview with the publication. “That's literally my favorite topic. My experience as a woman has been that it's seen in such a weird way. People are so uncomfortable talking about it, and weirded out when women are comfortable in their sexuality and communicative in it.”

Eilish also shared with Rolling Stone that “self-pleasure is an enormous, enormous part of my life,” describing it as a way to connect with herself. At the time, she also spoke about embracing her sexuality, which includes her attraction to women.

According to ‘USA Today’, in the newly released Vogue interview, Eilish, now 22, commented on her tendency to “underestimate that things I say will be blown up into the biggest news of the whole world,” mentioning to the magazine, “we're all babies. We're all little kids growing up and learning ourselves.”

One topic Eilish isn’t shying away from is the 2024 presidential election, which will see former President Donald Trump running against Vice President Kamala Harris. Eilish, who publicly supported Harris last month on National Voter Registration Day in an Instagram video alongside her older brother Finneas, expressed to Vogue her commitment to “human rights, women's rights and women's reproductive rights, social justice, and gun laws.”

Eilish, alongside other notable figures like Taylor Swift, is backing the vice president, and has explained to Vogue her reasons for supporting Harris in the upcoming November 5 election.

“A lot of my fans are going to be able to vote for the first time. So I'm like, 'Do you like freedom?’” Eilish stated. “First female president? Would be really amazing. I would love to feel safe as a woman in my country.”
