Comedy actress Rebel Wilson marries Ramona Agruma in Italian ceremony

Rebel Wilson and Ramona Agruma have officially tied the knot.

As reported by People, the couple celebrated their wedding on September 28 in Sardinia, Italy. Wilson and Agruma have not yet disclosed any details about this joyful occasion. However, it has been reported that the event was a small and intimate ceremony.

According to ‘Gay Times’, attending the special day were Wilson’s mother, her two sisters, and her brother, alongside actor Sterling Jones and polo player Melissa Ganzi.

Wilson and Agruma publicly announced their relationship in June 2022.

In an Instagram post, she stated, “I thought I was searching for a Disney Prince… but maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess.”

Unfortunately, just two days after her significant post, it was disclosed that the Bridesmaids star felt forced to come out.

She explained in an interview with The Australian, “Basically, with the situation where a journalist is threatening to out you, you’ve got to hurry, and some people we didn’t get a chance to tell before it came out publicly. And that’s not ideal.”

She added, “There are levels to telling people. You tell your close family and your friends and not everybody. Across our two families, not everybody is as accepting as you’d hope for, and we were trying to be respectful to those people and tell them in our way.”

Despite this setback, Wilson and Agruma's love continued to flourish.

In February 2023, they announced their engagement with a Disney theme.

She shared on Instagram, “We said YES! Thank you @tiffanyandco for the stunning ring, and to Bob Iger and the incredible team at Disney @disneyweddings for pulling off this magical surprise.”

Wilson posted photographs from the event, showing them surrounded by roses in front of Sleeping Beauty’s castle.

A month after their engagement, Wilson shared details about the proposal on The Drew Barrymore Show.

“I just proposed to my girlfriend Ramona [and] I was like, ‘Do I get down on one knee? What do I do?’ And I was like, ‘I might as well,’ so I got down on one knee,” she said.

She further revealed that Agruma joined her on one knee before finally asking the question.

“We’re in the middle of Disneyland proposing, and luckily, they put some topiary trees around us to give us a little bit of privacy, and it was just beautiful,” she shared.

“I’ve never been engaged before, or proposed to, or proposed, so it was such a huge thing in my life, and then we went on this new ride, and I go, ‘Hang on, I just have to like…’ I literally collapsed on the floor for like five minutes, and then I go, ‘Okay, I’m good. Let’s get churros.’”
