Gay Republican defends Trump, calls him the most pro-LGBT President in history

In an interview with Huffington Post’s Michelangelo Signorile, Gregory T. Angelo – the leader of the Log Cabin Republicans, a pro-LGBT Republican group – reiterated on comments he made last year about Trump. At the 2017 Conservative Political Action Conference he said that “Donald Trump is the most pro-LGBT Republican president in history… We have never had a Republican president who so candidly and openly discussed not only gay, not only lesbian, not only bisexual but transgender Americans as well.”
