January 11, 20242023 saw LGBTQ+ musicians breaking records and breaking boundaries. From Miley Cyrus earning the highest streamed single of the year with ‘Flowers’, to Troye Sivan donning a drag alter ego during the release of his new record, LGBTQ+ musicians continue to change the landscape of music and deliver empowering messages. 2024 is no different, with the queer community continuing to be a driving force in the music industry, and various talented musicians expected to produce new, engaging music.

Lil Nas X has been a recent prominent figure in both the music industry (holder of the longest running number one song record), and a prominent figure in the LGBTQ+ community (simply watch the music video for Call Me By Your Name). Known for pushing boundaries and fearlessly expressing his identity, he constantly demonstrates his unapologetic approach and artistic versatility.
He recently announced his new track J Christ, posting the caption “"MY NEW SINGLE IS DEDICATED TO THE MAN WHO HAD THE GREATEST COMEBACK OF ALL TIME!", on Instagram. The new track will be released globally on 12th January 2024, launching us into an inevitably queer new year.
