Rami Malek and Emma Corrin’s relationship is thriving.
In a recent interview with the Guardian, the 43-year-old ‘Mr. Robot’ actor shared rare comments about his partner, who uses they/them pronouns.
Malek described ‘The Crown’ star, 29, as “fascinating.” During the interview, he also referred to Corrin as “Em” and “my partner,” according to the Guardian.
According to ‘New York Post’, when the journalist noted Corrin’s intelligence and quirkiness, Malek smiled and commented, “We like quirky.”
In the same interview, Malek also shared a personal experience of being racially profiled by the LAPD.
Corrin has yet to publicly discuss their relationship with Malek.
The couple’s relationship was confirmed in September 2023 when they were photographed kissing in London. Two weeks later, they were seen holding hands after a Paris fashion week party.
Malek was similarly private about his previous relationship with actress Lucy Boynton, 31, which lasted from 2018 to 2022. They never publicly acknowledged their separation after meeting on the set of the 2018 film ‘Bohemian Rhapsody,’ which earned Malek an Oscar.
Corrin had not been in any publicly known relationships prior to dating Malek.
The ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ actor came out as queer and nonbinary in 2021, facing backlash that they addressed in a Harper’s Bazaar interview last year.
“The vitriol is worse than I anticipated,” Corrin admitted. “Even though we like to think we’re in a progressive society, a lot of what we’re seeing is increasingly a step back.”
Corrin added, “People follow me because they’ve watched something I’m in. They think I’m one kind of person, and then they’ll see who I actually am and how I present. I will never understand why. Who are you hurting by being yourself? Why am I controversial? I think it’s fear. Absolute fear.”
The ‘My Policeman’ star had previously discussed their gender identity in an interview with ITV’s Granada Reports in 2021.
