Founded in 2002, the Translating Identity Conference (TIC) is New England’s largest conference focused on transgender identities, issues, and intersections. We’ve facilitated sessions spanning pre-k to higher education, healthcare, law, and the intersections of gender and race, socioeconomic status, religion, and other social identities. TIC is a one-day event with sessions throughout the day geared towards folks of all levels of education and inclusion - the conference is a safe space for trans folks and allies to come together to learn and build community. We create affinity spaces, partner with trans-owned and trans-friendly businesses to host vendors, and offer ways to connect with the community throughout the weekend.

We are excited to announce that our 2019 keynote speakers are Kavi Ade and Jeffrey Marsh! Kavi Ade is an activist, arts educator and nationally recognized spoken word poet of Afro & Indigenous Caribbean descent. As a pundit for cable news, Jeffrey Marsh was the first openly non-binary activist to appear on national television.
