A Conversation with Tomasz Kitliński
A NEW addition to Leeds Mini LGBT+ Lit Fest 2020!
West Yorkshire Queer Stories and Leeds LGBT+ Literature Festival have teamed up to bring you a Q&A with queer author and art historian Tomasz Kitliński.
Kitliński is currently being sued for defamation by the far-right governor of Poland’s Lublin region, which has declared itself one of Poland’s ‘LGBT-free zones’. In this event, he explores the role queer art plays in activism today and how it can be used in the fight against the rise of populism and the far right.
Questions are welcome, so grab a drink from the bar and take part in this important discussion. Please book ahead to avoid disappointment, as tickets are free but places are limited.
