Our January 8th meeting will feature two individuals sharing their life experience as transgender individuals. As Peer Specialists, social workers, therapists and substance abuse counselors - we need to understand the needs and concerns of our clients who are also trans. 

Afterwards, representatives from Boriquen Medical Centers of Miami-Dade will share health related stats specific to the LGBT community, and they will inform the audience about the mental health / substance abuse and other health services Boriquen provides to all in the community.

This meeting is open to the public. Audience members will be allowed to ask questions and/or make comments. Adults only please.
