This LGBT History Month, join us at METRO's Woolwich Office to meet with other teachers and students for a day of in-depth training and discussion on how we can stamp out homophobic, biphobic and transphobic bullying and language. The day will be split between whole group discussions and smaller workshops on different themes run by each member of our team. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

Over the last year METRO's Anti-Homophobic, Biphobic and Transphobic (HBT) Bullying Project has been busy training over 3500 teachers and 1500 students in schools across the South East. The current project will end in March 2019, so this is your last chance to attend for free.

Over the course of the day delegates will:

- Develop confidence in tackling homophobic, biphobic and transphobic bullying and supporting LGBTQ+ students

- Clarify and establish their role as Anti-HBT Ambassadors in their own school community, and share this with others

- Plan for ways to celebrate LGBTQ+ identities in curriculum and around school

- Feel ready to initiate change on return to school

- Share ideas and discussions with other schools

- Form links with other schools for future work together

- Come away with an accredited certificate of participation to be displayed in your school

Schools can invite up to 4 members of staff, who are either already trained ambassadors or who wish to become ambassadors. Student ambassadors are also very welcome.
