Join our sessional worker Rachael working for Opening Doors London this month to attend 'Vanguard of Then and Now BAME LGBTQ+ Art Project'. This month we will be collaborating with Haringey Vanguard which is a project focusing on BAME LGBTQ+ activism in Haringey during the 1970s-1990s.
You can find out more information on the project here: https://haringeyvanguard.wordpress.com/
As quoted from the main event - this is a social event where people will be able to socialise and discuss BAME LGBTQ activism and history within Haringey. There will be performances and refreshments provided. Alongside this there will be an exhibition display of political and art works from the BAME LGBTQ+ community during this time period.

There is same-level access to the Museum via the front entrance and also a ramped entrance from the car park. The ground floor has same-level access to all areas. There are 24 stairs or a stair-lift to the first floor. Wheelchair access to toilet facilities is possible on both floors. The event isn’t on the ground floor, it is upstairs in the Coleraine Gallery but anyone who needs wheelchair access there is a stair-lift to access the floors upstairs.
The car park is on site on the west side of the building access via Church Lane (but must come off the A10/ The Roundway into All Hallows Road, and then right into Church Lane because of the no entry sign at the junction of Church Lane and Lordship Lane.
