Whilst progress has been made, many of the LGBT community worry about disclosing their sexuality at work with the fear that they will face negativity. Statistics show that 34% of lesbian, gay or transgender individuals across the UK choose not to make their sexuality known. Furthermore, research has shown that many ‘out’ students return to the closet after graduating.

This workshop will offer insight into the support available to the LGBT community within the workplace, any barriers that could be faced, as well as that all important legislation both protecting you and allowing you the opportunity to be yourself and perform to the best of your ability.
