Do you want to know more about being a pro-active, visible LGBT+ Role Model in the workplace? Perhaps you want to share your experiences with colleagues, or discuss ways we can achieve LGBT+ equality at the University of Brighton.
This LGBT+ History Month, staff are warmly invited to a knowledge exchange session with members of the LGBT+ Staff Network Group on being an LGBT+ Role Model at work.
Network Group members, Emily Brooks (Senior Technician in PaBS), will share her experience of Stonewall’s Young Leader Programme, and Alan Baser (Risk and Compliance Manager, Student Operations and Support) will discuss working with the university’s Stonewall Working Group to progress the institutions ambition of being in the Workplace Equality Index Top 100.
The Network Group welcome you to share your workplace experiences, as LGBT+ role models and with regard to what more can be done to progress towards LGBT+ equality in the institution.
