The Evening Highlihts and Celeberates Student Leadership in STEAM Fields.

The Blank Canvas Project, funded by the Ford Globe Grant is a program for African American GSA students to become leaders in the areas of STEAM. This grant was inspired by an African American lesbian executive who did not see anyone in her demographic in roles of leadership in her organization. The project has been granted funds to develop this program with a stipend to 5 students. The project will begin rolled out over a 5 year period to cover all of the deliverables from the involved parties (Cass Tech, Izzie, LLC., LGBT Detroit, The Triangle Society,Inc., University of Michigan College of Education and Ford Globe) working with developing the Sky-greenhouse located on the school's fifth floor, the Cass Tech outdoor campus and LGBT Detroit campus.
