Breaking Barriers

Real Life Lesbian, pioneers in their fields, tell their own stories about their collections at the Mazer, including:


Rita Gonzales: Pac Bell Worker/Rita will talk about her experience as a rare women in the phone business.

Marsha Epstein: One of the first women doctors at the Women's Clinic.

Phyllis Lambert: Wendy Averill presents the collection of her friend, Phyllis Lambert, who was unique because she was a trainer and auction sales manager of throughbred race horses.

Please choose a timed ticket for either 2:00 PM or 3:30PM. Make sure to arrive 30 minutes prior to your ticket time!


Free Parking: Location: West Hollywood Library - 625 N. San Vicente Blvd. West Hollywood CA 90069

Please make sure to bring your parking ticket to the library for validation during hours of operation between 1pm - 5pm on Sunday.
