It's Mardi Gras and Butch/Stud is back at the Rat!

Butch/Stud is a celebration of butch culture and self-expression through style, performance, dance and community connection. Prepare for an evening of drag kings, diesel dyke poets, all kinds of butches and butch-loving performers.

The last two years Butch/Stud has sold out, so get your tickets fast! We invite you to come dapper, leather-clad, macho, suited, gowned, tomboy or plain ol’ dirty. Just come ready to have a good time and celebrate Mardi Gras with your people.

All Butch/Stud events are not for profit - meaning all the profits from door sales after expenses are split between performers and contributors. We keep ticket prices low so as many people as possible can attend, however we do know that for some the ticket price is still difficult to fit in the budget so we make a portion of tickets available for those who need community and to be with friends but would otherwise not be able to afford it. By buying a ticket you have contributed and we are grateful.

The Red Rattler is a licensed, wheelchair accessible venue with all-gender bathrooms. Everyone is welcome. This event will be Auslan interpreted.
