Seminar: Celebrating Difference - A Whole School Approach to LGBT+ Inclusion
In this inspiring session celebrates LGBT+ in education. Advocate, homophobic bullying survivor, author and ex-school leader Shaun Dellenty details the moral and statutory rationale for undertaking positive LGBT+ inclusion work in primary, secondary and faith school contexts. Informed by ten years of multi-award award-winning work in education systems in the U.K. and overseas, Shaun will share tried and tested strategies for facilitating sustained organisational change, in order to work positively with human diversity and prejudice to prevent bullying related to LGBT+ identities. Shaun will draw on his own book ‚'Celebrating Difference- a Whole Approach to LGBT+ Inclusion' published this year by Bloomsbury Education.
