Coffee Break is a brand-new digital series brought to you by LGBTQ+ workplace equality experts, myGwork. These sessions will explore issues important to the LGBTQ+ community and highlight some of the amazing work being done to push forward equality and inclusion.
This session, hosted by Zoe Schulz, myGwork's Client Success Manager, will explore how we can push forward LGBTQ+ equality, support vulnerable LGBTQ+ people and educate our audience on issues important to our community
This week we talk to Danny Nasr, co-founder of Rebuilding Beirut. Earlier this year Beirut was hit by a devastating blast, killing over 200 people and leaving many injured and without a home. Months on, the city is still trying to recuperate from the damage and pain this caused. We sit down and talk to Danny about the situation in Beirut and why as an LGBTQ+ person and a Lebanese diaspora it was important for him to rally support and fundraise for those affected. Rebuilding Beirut has now managed to crowdfund over £20k and put on an evening of pride, performance and love for Beirut, its people and its reconstruction. Join us to learn more.
