A day centering and celebrating LGBT+ young people!

COLOURS youth festival is for LGBT+ people of colour aged 16-25. 
The festival is a space to explore, learn and meet others from around the UK.

Workshops, performance, stalls, performances and more!

Young people under 16 must attend with a youth group.

We are centering LGBT+ people of colour at the COLOURS Youth Festival, all staff and volunteers are LGBT+ people of colour. Workers bringing young people along do not need to be LGBT+ people of colour. We will also have a workers area during the day for anyone accompanying young people to the access the day, where there will be workshops and engagemnt, while young people are in their sessions.

COLOURS Youth Network:

CYN is run by LGBT+ people of colour working with young people around the UK. The network seeks to create opportunities for LGBT+ young people of colour to meet, build social and support networks, friendships and family and to provide spaces to explore and celebrate identity.

CYN also exists to support youth workers, providing a supportive platform to develop best practice. COLOURS Youth Network currently includes youth workers from The Proud Trust, Bradford Youth Service, Gendered Intelligence and UNMUTEDBrum.

The Proud Trust is a life saving and life enhancing organisation that helps young people empower themselves to make a positive change for themselves and their communities. Their work takes place through LGBT+ youth groups, peer support, managing the LGBT Centre for Manchester, delivering of training and events, campaigns, undertaking research and creating resources.
