Community / LGBT+Faith

The LGBT+Faith training day provides a space to reflect, learn, and build your practice for working with and supporting LGBT+ people of faith.

What will you gain?

Participants will be led by expert interfaith facilitators through interactive activities, video encounters with LGBT people of faith, and discussions with other professionals from the LGBT+ sector. By the end of the session, we aim for participants to:

·       Better understand the diverse ways different LGBT+ people relate to faith

·       Learn practical ways to ensure people of faith are included and welcomed

·       Gain new ideas for dealing with challenging scenarios around faith that may arise in your work or community

·       Feel more confident approaching conversations about faith

Why are we running this programme?

As the UK’s leading interfaith organisation, we have over 20 years’ experience working with people of different faiths and beliefs in schools, universities, workplaces and community groups.  We aim for people of all identities to be able to be themselves in all settings.
