Effective policies are at the core of best practice within our schools and colleges. If we are to ensure that the needs of all of the children and young people in your care are being met, we must ensure that our policies are LGBT+ inclusive.

During this half day training event you will:

• Have a basic and short recap of LGBT+ inclusive language and terminology;
• Examine and critique some sample school or college polices;
• Workshop a handful of your existing policies, identifying areas for improvement;
• Discussing effective strategies for inclusive policy implementation.

This course is suitable for any person that can influence and implement change at a policy level, such as members of SLT, or school governors.
