Diversity in the LGBT+ Community

Whilst great strides have been made in ensuring representation of the LGBT+ community in advertising and communications there is still work to be done in presenting a more rounded view.

The OPENPride UK + Allies Communications Competition

Following the success of last year’s OPEN Pride UK + Allies Creative Competition, our 2019 Communications Competition will invite agencies to use their communication skills to raise the voices of all LGBT+ communities in the UK by partnering with small to medium LGBT+ charities to and organisations help them to tell their stories to a wider audience.

For the launch event we will have a panel of guest speakers including Jan Gooding, former Head of Inclusion and Global Brand Director of Aviva and current Chair of Stonewall. We will be discussing diversity, creativity and why it is important to include all LGBT+ voices.
