Employee LGBT+ Allies Network group – tactic and tips
Annie and Drew meet at the Stonewall Equality London Conference in April 2019 where they shared good practice example of a private sector staff network (Annie) and public sector staff network (Drew). Annie leads Spectrum, GSK LGBT+ employee network in the UK, which was named 'best LGBT network group' by Stonewall in 2019. As chair of Croydon Councils LGBT+ Allies network Drew has ensured that the network has a high profile and visibility both across the council and borough wide.

- Awareness for issues for employers for staff who identify as LGBT+
- The positiveness of investing in staff networks for staff Health & Wellbeing
- Croydon is a safe and welcoming place to live and work for people who identify as LGBT+
The event provides the opportunity to network with private and public sector organisations and discuss feedback from our Stonewall Workplace Equality Index feedback.
