Join us on a journey through the decades of gay pride.

Hosted by Visit Bucks County, 3207 Street Road, Bensalem (located next to PARX Casino) from Jan. 13th through Mar. 23rd, 2019. Open to the public daily from 9 am- 5 pm seven days a week.

An opening brunch presented by The Raven Resort will be held on Jan 13th, 2019 from 11:30am-3:00 pm.

New Hope Celebrates is proud to present an educational exhibit highlighting the gay experience in New Hope, Bucks County, Pa. juxtaposed to national events that occurred in gay culture during the late 1960s through present day.

Take a journey through the decades of pride with a colorful glimpse of gay history featuring images, artifacts, and information. Highlighted by the stories of local individuals who have made meaningful contributions to New Hope and Bucks County's LGBTQ+ community.

A special display will pay tribute to Stonewall on this 50th anniversary of the riots in New Your City which led to the Gay Rights Movement and Pride ceremonies and parades nationally and globally.

We are honored to host the premiere of a national traveling exhibit. Featuring a five-panel free-standing display from the members of the PA LGBTQ+ Historic Network, which details the progress of gay history throughout Pennsylvania.

New Hope Celebrates History's mission is to celebrate and remember those pioneers who came before us as well as to engage and educate present generations about their gay heritage. We hope to not only entertain and reminisce but to also educate attendees on the distance homosexuals have journeyed from hiding, hate, and persecution to achieving recognition, joy, and hope in their continued fight for basic human rights.

Visitors takeaway It is our sincere hope that visitors will leave the exhibit enlightened, inspired and with a deeper understanding and appreciation of both the local and national LGBTQ+ community and its quest for equality. We hope to capture just a glimpse of the thousands of individuals who paved the way to a better way of life through the good times and the bad.
