To celebrate LGBT History Month, the National Football Museum is running a special day of Hidden History tours, exploring the role of influential LGBT+ players and officials within the history of the beautiful game, and the impact they have had on the game of our lives.
Learn more about key figures including Justin Fashanu, the UK's first openly gay professional footballer, as well as the initiatives of clubs such as Hackney Women and Altrincham and the work of bodies such as Football v Homophobia.
Each tour runs for approximately thirty minutes, and is free to all National Football Museum ticket holders and City of Manchester residents.
