Interbank is hosting a networking evening on Thursday 17th October 2019 from 6.00pm at Mrs Foggs. This is an exciting venue which we are returning to in the City.
The Interbank professional networking events offer an opportunity to meet and socialise with other LGBTQ+ people working within financial services, in an informal business environment.
Everyone is welcome and we continue to focus on encouraging our Women+ members to attend as part of a drive to increase presence and visibility.
Interbank invites everyone to wear purple on 17th October for Spirit Day:
Spirit Day is a means of speaking out against LGBTQ bullying and standing with LGBTQ youth, who disproportionately face bullying and harassment because of their identities. Pledging to "go purple" on Spirit Day is a way for everyone — forward-thinking companies, global leaders, respected celebrities, neighbors, parents, classmates, and friends — to visibly show solidarity with LGBTQ youth and to take part in the largest, most visible anti-bullying campaign in the world.
We’ll see you there!
Friends, partners and allies welcome as always.
NB photos maybe taken at the event for future Interbank communications.
When you register, we would like some additional information from you:
At Interbank, we are constantly working to ensure we are as inclusive as possible and that we truly represent and reflect the rich diversity of our members in terms of background, sexuality, gender identity and expression. To do this we want to try and reach and engage with as many of you as we possibly can. It is hard for us to measure our success in this regard, if we don’t get to know our members. Please be assured your information is used in aggregate and will never be shared with anyone at Interbank, or beyond.
Red Run 30th November @12:30
Once again Interbank is helping sponsor Red Run. "The World AIDS Day RED RUN has become so much more than just a charity 10K/5k run and walk. It’s an important community event that brings together people and charities fighting against HIV stigma, tackling onward HIV transmission and providing much needed care and direct support".
Ian Montgomery from Red Run will attend this event and will be taking registrations for the races. There will be Interbank committee members running and we hope to see as many of you as possible running too!
