Do you need clarity around LGBT+ issues?

Our CPD Accredited LGBT+ awareness session is priced at £63.50 per person including a light lunch and morning refreshments.

In the training we will cover the following topics:

• An exploration of sexual orientation, gender identity, non-binary spectrums
• Equality act and the laws relating to the LGBT+ communities
• Historical perspective on Gender Identity
• A local and national overview of relevant current LGBTQ+ issues
• Pathways of care for gender reassignment (young people and adults)
• Internalised homophobia/transphobia/bi-phobia and its consequences

This training is a fantastic opportunity to explore, learn and ask any questions you may have in a safe and non-judjmental space with expierienced staff. At The LGBTQ+ Community Centre we have books, DVDs and resources we use with YAY Cornwall the LGBTQ+ Youth Group in Cornwall which might be useful to you to see. You will recieve a PDF of the presentations delivered and a Certificate of Attendance.
