Legal Rights for LGBT Families: A Toolkit

Coram Chambers has partnered with Pride in the City and New Family Social to host an evening of discussion on legal rights for LGBT Families.

Come and learn the essentials about the legal process for pre-nuptial agreements, surrogacy and adoption, parenting, family finance and much more.

Our speakers will be:

Bianca is highly knowledgeable about both the case law and the statutory provisions in this complex area of law, and has lectured and published articles on the subject for Family Law Week and has been quoted by news sources such as The Times.

Tosin Oguntayo - barrister at Coram Chambers specializing in all aspects of family. Tosin is particularly skilled in private law children act disputes, helping families resolve legal issues that are often intertwined with raw emotions. He is the head of the Coram Chambers Direct Access practice group.

James Mansfield-Sturgess - National Volunteer Coordinator at New Family Social. James and his husband were first approved as adopters in 2007 and now have two sons. They have been members of New Family Social (NFS) , a charity focussed on supporting and promoting LGBT+ Adopters and Foster Carers, since it was founded over 10 years ago. James now works for NFS recruiting and supporting volunteers to help out at the charity’s many events.
