Aim of the course 

To provide an overview of issues affecting the LGBT community. 

Objectives of the course

• To understand the difference between sexual orientation and gender identity
• To understand the diversity of sexual orientation 
• To look at prejudice and discrimination and the effect that discrimination has on people
• To examine equality legislation
• To look at LGBT awareness in the workplace
