Jono, a community development worker in Harrogate & Craven, has worked with LGBT+ young people throughout his time with MESMAC and has a history in youth work. Jono will be discussing the terms and definitions used within the LGBT+ community, the issues they face, as well as ways in which to make your practice, service, or organisation, visibly inclusive and safe for young LGBT+ people. There will be a specific emphasis on working with people from rural areas and backgrounds.
