On Sunday, August 25th, FreeState Justice is proud to invite you to the Maryland Zoo’s very first LGBT Family Day! Join us from 11am-3pm as we bring together LGBTQ+ families, friends, and allies at the zoo’s Waterfowl Pavilion for a day filled with fun and community.

Come and see the wide variety of animals that call the Maryland Zoo their home, and don’t forget to check out our lawn games, scavenger hunt, face painting booth, and all the other family-friendly activities that we have planned for the afternoon! Food trucks will also be available onsite.

Every dollar of the proceeds from the event will go towards helping FreeState Justice provide vital services for Maryland’s LGBTQ+ community.

What does your ticket include? Access to the Waterfowl Pavillion, specifically reserved for LGBT Family Day attendees, a local food truck, activities, games, and community!

You will also have access to the entire zoo and all of its open exhibits and activities. Schedules will be available for any special events happening in the zoo!
