This event forms part of the University of Leeds LGBT+ History Month in collaboration with Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences and the LGBT+ Staff Network. This event is open to all staff and students from the University of Leeds. We welcome everyone to join us to understand the importance of being yourself in STEM.
Our panel will discuss their experiences of being themselves or coming out as LGBT+ in STEM, promoting Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in STEM and how to support students and colleagues by being an LGBT+ ally.

Ian Holdsworth (IT Services, Co-Chair of the LGBT+ Staff Network)
During this event will we offer guidance on mentoring scheme offered under the EPSRC Northern Power Inclusion Matters project. Find more here.
