Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) and Health Education will be statutory in all schools from September 2020. The draft statutory guidance recommends that an LGBT-inclusive appraoch is 'integral throughout'. This one-day training equips participants with the skills and confidence to deliver RSE that is positively inclusive of LGBT identities and relationships across all areas of the new curriculum.
Participants will have the opportunity to explore a wide range of resources and techniques for ensuring that issues such as consent, sexual health and healthy relationships are relevant to all young people, whatever their developing sexuality or gender identity. The approach is interactive, with opportunities for planning and learning from colleagues.
