LGBT Bristol and LGBT Plus, the LGBT+ Employees Group at Bristol City Council, are hosting an Interfaith event for National Coming Out day on 11th October. This event is inclusive of all LGBT+ people and groups who share a faith and their allies and those who work with LGBT+ people of faith. The aim is to not only celebrate National Coming Out Day but also to create an opportunity for mutual understanding and support, celebration of different faiths, and to elicit interest for an LGBT+ Interfaith Group.
We are holding an open mic session to give opportunity to all to speak about: faith; groups; ideas for a more faith inclusive city; and/or experience of coming out.
If you would like to take part in the open mic session please email [email protected] so that we can share the time equally.
We hope you can join us. There will be a light buffet. Please book a free ticket here so that we have numbers for the buffet.
The event starts at 5pm with networking, buffet and refreshments. Sarah and Marek will be on hand to welcome those who would like to come a little earlier to meet us and get to know others.
Those who have mobility access needs - please contact [email protected] so that we can arrange support to access the building, which has a number of steps down to the main foyer.
