LGBT+ Pre-Conference: "Doing This Together: Exploring Comprehensive Prevention and Care for LGBT+Individuals" "

Providing care for special populations has been a challenge in the past. However, with emerging and innovative strategies, we have the necessary tools to provide comprehensive and practical services to people who identify as LGBT+. During this symposium, we will focus on the culture, medical needs, and treatment guidance for persons who may be at substantial risk for HIV and other STDs. We will explore sexual behavior that could potentially put someone as risk and also culturally appropriate engagement with LGBT+ people in clinical settings.
