Managing Disability Confidently Training for Managers

his interactive workshop helps to increase disability awareness and confidence, so that managers will be better placed to support disabled colleagues and future applicants. The training will instigate conversations around disability, providing a greater understanding of Disability Equality and Disability Rights and building confidence for Managers.

This training is part of the University’s wider commitment to increasing disability awareness and equality.

The training is open to all University of Leicester, Managers/Supervisors and staff who facilitate PDD’s.

Trainer – Steve Jepson from Mosaic: shaping disability services

Mosaic deliver services and information, which promote inclusion, equality, independence, choice, empowerment, respect and dignity to people with a variety of disabilities. Services also include providing information & advice, leisure activities, health & social care and employment..
