About the event: A chance to view a shortened version of a documentary on LGBT older and old people, ageing and the care system. The title is 'Gen Silent' (Gen: Generation) and was made by Stu Maddux. 'The generation who fought hardest to come out is now faced with going back into the closet to survive in the care system.' The film lasts around 30 minutes and will be followed by a talk about the work of SAND (Safe Ageing No Discrimination), a local organisation that works with Age UK to raise awareness within the Care Sector.
