Pride in STEM will be hosting a special edition of Out Thinkers in Oxford where will be showcasing some amazingly talented women* and the research they do in STEM. The event will be chaired by Dr Clara Barker who is a material scientist at the University of Oxford and also the vice-chair of the LGBT+ Advisory Group for the university.

The speakers will be:

•    Laura Garmendia - DPhil in Neuroscience
•    Helen Potts - DPhil in Cardiovascular Science
•    Mari Johnson - DPhil in Immunology
•    Dina Traykova - DPhil in Astrophysics

The doors will open at 7pmfor a 7;30pm start on the upper floor of St Aldates Tavern. Drinks may be purchased downstairs and taken with you. The event is free to attend but booking a ticket is required!

Out Thinkers serves to showcase the talent of LGBT+ researchers, providing a platform where people can talk about their scientific work while truly being themselves. Out Thinkers events feature a range of phenomenal speakers talking about their research and experiences as LGBT+ individuals in academia.
