*Meet the Programmers Pitch opportunity
LGBTQ+ artist/company trying to get your work booked? Have an idea or project that needs support? Meet venues, festivals, producers and programmers who could make that happen!
We’ve invited venues, festivals and programmers to gather in one room to hear about your work and share what they look for when booking shows.
Apply for a 2 minute slot to present your work to the room. This is an ideal opportunity to introduce yourself and your work – you can talk about anything from an idea, a show in development or a tour-ready show you want them to book!
Download an application form here and return it to [email protected] by Fri 1 November, 5pm.

Arts Council England: Advice Surgeries
Wed 6th November, 11am - 1.20pm. FREE
Prior to Queer Arts North's afternoon session, Angela Chappell, Relationship Manager, Combined Arts at Arts Council England is offering 20min Advice Surgeries to any organisations, artists and companies attending the event, and thinking of applying for funding, to discuss any creative ideas.
The sessions can give guidance for first-time applicants - if you've a project in mind you can discuss approaches to applying for funding, get hints and tips on writing applications, be sign-posted to access needs and discuss your idea/ concept and approach. If you're not a first-time applicant, and have had difficulty with funding in the past and want to re-submit an application you can also discuss your approach.
Advice surgeries complement Arts Council England online guidance so for the best use of the time with Angela please look at the website in advance of the session for guidance on funding e.g. National Lottery Grants programme or Developing Your Creative Practice.
Advice surgeries are offered on a first come, first served basis - please email [email protected] to book your place.
