October is Economic Justice Month at the SF LGBT Center. During this month, we have a variety of events including a job fair, financial literacy workshops, and many more.

As part of the EJM, October 12 is our Small Business Day. We will have our Queer Street Marketplace and back to back small business workshops during that day.

Queer Street Marketplace at the SF LGBT Center showcases LGBTQIA run small businesses in a community-driven environment.

On the day of the event, we will transform the first and second floor of the SF LGBT Center into a bustling marketplace where people can shop, enjoy food, music, and arts.

The Queer Street Marketplace will start at 11 am and run to 4 pm. The small business workshops will start at 11:30 am and run to 4:30 pm.

A free raffle draw will happen at 2 pm for $50 to help you make purchases from the vendors.

Vendors will be entered into a separate $50 draw at 2 pm as well ( please bring your business card for the raffle draw).

11:30 to 1:00 Non-Employee Workers: What You Don't Know About Working With (or As) Contractors, Interns, and Volunteers

1:30 to 3:00 Retirement Planning for Small Business Owners

3:00 to 4:30 How Branding and Marketing Work: An Interactive Workshop
