This is a 4-week online acting, improv, and writing class focused on learning tools to play honestly and collaboratively in comedy. Students will find the fun and opportunity in improv scenes each class, working on individual goals and producing a short piece of writing by the end of the course.

This class is for everyone, but is especially targeted towards people with some comedy experience. Women, people of color, LGBT+ and the differently-abled are highly encouraged to enroll.

Students should come to the first class with a short introductory statement, including individualized comedy goals to work on. Students should expect some writing homework in between classes as we work towards your final piece.

This is a reoccurring online course held Thursdays, 7-9 pm CST starting Thursday, April 16. All sales are final. Classes are non-refundable but enrollment can be deferred to a future term. All students must adhere to policies in the Stomping Ground Student Handbook. Must be 18 years or older. Must have internet connection and access to Zoom.
