DIVA Magazine x Gay’s the Word are proud to present an evening with cartoonist Kate Charlesworth in celebration of her latest book, Sensible Footwear: A Girl’s Guide. Recently long-listed for the Portico Prize, Sensible Footwear was reviewed in DIVA as a graphic memoir that ‘should be on everyone’s bookshelves’. Come along for a raucous discussion of comics, lesbian life, and UK LGBT+ history from 1950! Kate will be in conversation with her editor Corinne Pearlman (Myriad Editions) and Erica Gillingham.
