Sex, Gender and Sexualities Research Group at Surrey - Launch Event

REGISTER

The launch marks the formation of the newly formed, multidisciplinary group of researchers from across the University of Surrey and provides a space to showcase the diverse range of research areas we cover in this field. The event will bring together researchers, activists, charities, policy makers and representatives from cultural industries to discuss existing SGS projects and to facilitate opportunities to build new collaborations. We would like to share our research with you, discuss ideas and, above all, work with you.

Planned programme to include:

  • Introduction to the SGS research group – its aims and planned activities
  • Paired testimonials – a panel conversation where SGS members and their collaborative research partners discuss their projects, what they learned and how they worked together with audience questions and contributions welcomed.
  • Themed discussions – a round table networking activity to explore future collaborations
  • Poetry reading by Stephen Mooney

Followed by a wine reception with opportunity for further exchanges.
