Throughout the day we will celebrate the work of the network and this event will also act to provide a CPD opportunity for all.
The day will raise awareness and understanding for Trans Employees, and encompass motivational speakers from award winning private industry. Including thought provoking inputs from:
- Stone Wall discussing ‘Acceptance without Exception’ and Acting on hate crime, with an input from Staffordshire Police Hate Crime Lead Chief Inspector Clair Langley.
- PC Bee Bailey of Gloucestershire Police. Bee is a serving Trans officer and will be discussing her story and police career.
- The Naz & Matt Foundation – who discuss ending religious Homophobia. An emotional and powerful story the foundation seeks to resolve challenges between religion and sexuality or gender. The award winning registered UK charity discuss tackling these problems head on.
- Staffordshire Police LGBT Network – Looking at our International Influence
- GALOP - LGBT+ anti- violence charity. Discussing Domestic Violence in the LGBT community.
- Vodafone LGBT Network – Looking at the importance of Allies - Top Global Ally Award 2019 - winners Vodafone discuss the importance and role of allies within organisations.
- Vodafone's Diversity & Inclusion, Resource & Talent Manager – HR, Recruitment & Building an inclusive workforce.
