This is a half-day course for people working with children and young people in West Sussex.
This course is being delivered through a partnership between Coastal West Sussex Mind, Allsorts, West Sussex County Council and WestSussex CCGs.
This training will explore the issues and challenges that Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans or Unsure (of their sexual orientation or gender identity) children and young people face, how they are impacted by these, and how best to support them.
We will learn ways to make our services safer and more LGBT inclusive by exploring ways of identifying and challenging homophobia, bi and transphobia at home, school, college or work.

The Shoreham Centre is five minutes walk from Shoreham Train station. There is a public car park behind the building. This is 50p an hour for the first 4 hours then a £1.00 an hour after that.
The course runs from 1.30pm - 4.30pm.

Tea and coffee with also be provided in the mid-afternoon break. We will try to provide a caffeine free option but this cannot be guaranteed.
