This one-day summit will bring together young people, educators, social justice facilitators, activists, healers, and other cultural freedom fighters from across the five boroughs to answer a unique question: What do we need to give up in order to get free? Centering a variety of workshops from womanist read ins to exploring lgbtq+ histories, to self defense to healing circles for survivors- we will build skills, ask the hard questions and strengthen community ties across disciplines. Come through and break bread, be in community, and get educated!
