On November 14, outstanding humanitarians that are considered rockstars from the fields of theater, music, design, and business will be honored for making the world a better place. These global humanitarians will be honored for their worldwide peacemaking efforts. Honorees and presenters will be announced from September 1 to November 13, 2018, at wellsoflife.org/betterworldawards.
Our special performer for the evening is none other than Jose Feliciano. Jose is an icon in the music world and he will play many of his classis songs.
Former honorees and presenters are invited to the black-tie gala dinner, dance and awards show, which include Pamela Anderson, Eva Longoria Baston, F1 World Champion Jenson Button, Julian Lennon, Bryan Ferry, Olivia Gaynor-Long, Kweku Mandela, Ky-Mani Marley, and Mr. Elie Saab, to name a few.

Two wonderful hosts are sure to entertain: CBS Radio's Rita Cosby and SohoMuse's Consuelo Vanderbilt Costin.
Cosby, CNN and formerly Fox News contributing journalist and CBS Radio show personality, specializes in interviewing newsmaking and political figures. Cosby made national headlines for her interviews with five U.S. presidents, two Catholic Popes, and back-to-back interviews Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat and Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon. She also has interviewed high-profile entertainers such as Mike Tyson and Michael Jackson. From Cosby’s ability to transcend all worlds, she has earned the three Emmy Awards, the Jack Anderson Award, the Matrix Award, the Ellis Island Medal of Honor, and the Lech Walesa Freedom Award. Rita Cosby is an ideal emcee for The 8th Annual Better World Awards: Roc4Humanity.
Conseulo Vanderbilt Costin, a fifth-generation Vanderbilt, is the CEO and founder of SohoMuse, a professional networking website for the global creative community. An internet entrepreneur, Costin's popstar with a pedigree history has demonstrated an earnest philanthropic bent for the arts. The one-time performing artist, whose songs reached the Billboard Top 20 on the dance charts is a compassionate spokesperson for the artistic community.

- Harry Benson CBE - Humanitarian Arts Award. Harry’s prolific photography career has captured iconic moments in history and memorable moments of our lives which stirred our hearts and often illuminated global issues.
- Claudinette Jean - Humanitarian Helping Hand Award. Claudinette is the designer for Fusha Fashion and the wife of musician Wyclef Jean. Claudinette worked tirelessly on the ground in Haiti during the devastating earthquake.
- Fred Schneider - Humanitarian Music Award. Fred is an American singer, best known as the frontman for the B52's and as a spokesperson for LGBT rights.
- Jean Shafiroff - Humanitarian Philanthropist Award. Jean is a philanthropist, activist, humanitarian, and author of Successful Philanthropy: How to Make a Life By What You Give.
Honorees will be presented their awards by colleagues in their fields. More to be added between October 1 and November 13th.
Special Performers:
Clayton Bryant is a Grammy award nominated/winning Singer-Songwriter. Bryant was featured in the Oscar and Grammy-winning documentary film 20 Feet from Stardom (2013). Clayton can be heard on albums such as , Forever On Your Side” Ashford and Simpson’s “Real Thing” LP and Kanye West’s “LIFE Of Pablo” which was nominated for Best Rap Album at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards, Released this summer was a remix by DJ Ivan Roudyk to Clayton’s Pop hit “Will You Care”.

Lillias White is an American singer and actress of stage, television, and film who is particularly admired for her performances in Broadway musicals. In 1997 she won the Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical and Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Featured Actress in a Musical for portraying Sonja in Cy Coleman's The Life. She was nominated for a Tony Award again in 2010 for her work as Funmilayo in Fela Kuti's Fela!. White is also known for voicing Calliope on the Disney animated series Hercules.
