This evening of new writing is hosted by writer Olumide Popoola, leader of the prose writing development scheme, The Future is Back. The scheme took 12 emerging LGBTQ+ writers through a series of workshops, industry guest sessions and masterclasses.

Please join us for an evening of readings and performances with the The Future is Back writers: Sabah Choudrey, Sam Hampson, LiLi Kathleen Bright, Sukh Brar, Leon Craig, Anna Lewis, Alan Ward, Kieron Blake, Gabrielle Johnson, Lena, Amie Taylor and Archanna Seker.

The amazing Andra Simons will close the evening with a short set. Andra is a captivating performer, tender and intimate, soaring and powerful.

Andra Simons is a Bermudian writer and performer living in London. His debut collection The Joshua Tales (Treehouse Press) was published in 2009. His poems have appeared in various publications in the UK and internationally. As well as a Creative Writing Visiting Lecturer at the University of Greenwich (2009 - 2015) Andra has performed at numerous festivals and events. His forthcoming Copypress title Turtlemen will be published later this year.
